Red Octopus was the only #1 album Jefferson Airplane/Starship ever had, largely thanks to this ballad. The album sold more than four million copies. the song "Miracles" on the fantastic Red Octopus album of the unbeleivably fantastic unreal dreamlike paradise time of total rock geniuses.I love Marty,Paul,Grace,Jorma and Jack for making. Red Octopus is Jefferson Starship's best album as a cohesive band. That said, it is just slightly better than Dragon Fly, and much more separated from Jefferson complucvesenshealhgoldnetnoporcentpulchni.coinfo would soon become more and more of a complaint, but for this album there are still classics like "Fast Buck Freddie", "Ai Garimasu (There Is Love)" and their most recognizable hit, "Miracles", featuring another great song. This compilation culls the hit singles and strongest album tracks from Jefferson Starship's four elemental-titled albums of the s: 's Dragon Fly (evoking air), the number one smash Red Octopus (water), 's Spitfire (fire), and the more obviously titled Earth from These albums saw the Jefferson Starship hit-making machine at its peak, so this collection is a fine. Oct 27,  · This is a superb way of discovering the full extent of Jefferson Starship when combined with the 3 linked albums above to complete a set - but it is not the same as the music from the first 3 (except for Red Octopus - which has made the whole set worth having to me)/5(47). Reply

Jefferson Starship's "Red Octopus" I bought this CD because I am a Jefferson Starship fan and especially because I love the song "Miracles." My wife and I particularly loved this song and it was the very last song that we danced to at our wedding reception in May, Reply
