(Matthew ) Some of Jesus’ own family didn’t believe he was the Messiah and said that he was “out of his mind,” but Jesus kept doing God’s work. (Mark ) When his enemies were cruel to him, Jesus stayed faithful to God and never tried to harm them. — 1 Peter Reply

The important thing is the people, that now the Gentiles also receive salvation and forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ. They are no longer to be kept separate. Therefore what God has cleansed we do not despise. Therefore we eat whatever seems best to us, but more importantly we do not withhold the gospel of Jesus Christ from any. Reply

Jun 03,  · Thankfully, Jesus Christ, the God-man who became a descendant of Adam, died on the cross in our place, taking the penalty of death for us that we deserve because of our sin. Through his death, Christ nailed our sin to the cross, and when we repent of our sin and trust in Christ alone for salvation, we are forgiven and he remembers our sin no. Reply

The Jesus I hate is the modern, Western Jesus, the American Jesus, the Jesus who has been a part of my life for almost fifty-eight years. The Jesuses of bygone eras have no power to harm me, but the modern Jesus – the Jesus of the three hundred thousand Christian churches that populate every community in America – he has the power to affect. The Jews hate Jesus Christ because they do not like being in a position of “weakness.” For one to come to Jesus Christ he has to admit that he has sinned and in need of a Saviour and therefore must repent and correct his conduct. The Jews find this absolutely abhorrent. The Jews do not want a Saviour. They do not believe they have ever sinned. Reply

Mar 29,  · Jesus was carried in the agonies of the last lap of his race by the hope of joy. “For the joy that was set before him [he] endured the cross, despising the shame” (verse 2). Jesus kept his eyes on the same place we should — his own future exaltation at the Father’s right hand, with the completion of our salvation crowning his head. Reply
