Those arriving here expecting an album loaded up with hardware heavy techno will be in for a sharp but pleasant shock, Here From Where We Are is what happens when Pariah lets loose the rhythmic ram of his previous work both solo and as one 1/2 of Karenn, in favour of a properly mind-warping multi-layered range of ambient textures. Jan 31,  · I just got this CD, and I'm already completely taken with it! The music is so diverse, and electric. It goes from hip-hop to rock, to neo-soul and back. The songs are heavy with meaning but also very fun and energizing. I have more than one favorite track, and probably will have more as time goes on. I wish there were more eclectic CDs like this.5/5(1). Reply
